This patient’s smile required a more complex approach to combine S.S.’s existing crowns (paired with implants) with new veneers and ensure everything blended naturally. They also had a single crown on a natural tooth to consider. Dr. Harnois seamlessly incorporated the new veneers with the existing work to produce a natural-looking result that the patient loved. We do everything possible to deliver our patients the best possible results – and sometimes that extends beyond veneers. Jackie’s case was a special one. In addition to Lumineers, Dr. Harnois performed laser gum surgery to even the gumline and provide the right foundation for Jackie’s new smile. Esthetic smile design is all about balance – including the gums. We make the process as simple and patient-oriented as possible with our painless Biolase water laser. The only laser that doesn’t cut using thermal ablation, it provides a comfortable experience with accelerated healing to follow. About five years ago I had my first set of Lumineers put on by another dentist. Through that time, I had several issues to the point where the Lumineers needed to be replaced. Knowing I should get 20 years or so from the Lumineers I was upset to say the least.
I started searching for a new dentist and I came across Dr. Harnois. When I met Dr. Harnois, and I explained the issues to him he was so compassionate and understanding of my situation. “I grind my teeth at night and have been wearing them down over the years. I also wanted to avoid Invisalign, and I was a candidate for these non-invasive Lumineers. I chose Lumineers over traditional veneers because I did not want my teeth drilled down and damaged. There was none of that with my Lumineers procedure! I sought out the best dentist I could locate and found Dr. Peter on Google. The office was wonderful. Everyone was so kind and gentle. All my questions were addressed and answered. One of the best parts about this Lumineers system was that Dr. Peter placed upper and lower temporary Lumineers that I wore for a month while my permanent ones were being made. They were bonded on and it allowed me to test drive both the shape and the shade to make sure the end result would be exactly what I wanted.
