What will getting Lumineers be like?
Consultation
The first step is arranging a consultation. Our cosmetic consultations are complimentary so that you can learn more without having to make any upfront commitment. You’ll meet with one of our dentists to discuss your treatment goals. They’ll provide detailed answers to any questions you might have and provide a pricing breakdown for your treatment plan.
LumiSmile
We offer digital smile makeovers to give you an idea of what your final results will look like. All we need to do is take a photo of your teeth and digitally add your Lumineers.
First appointment
It’s time to get your teeth ready for your veneers. In some cases, Lumineers patients don’t need their teeth prepped. This is because Lumineers are so thin that they may fit over unaltered natural teeth. If your Lumineers do require some prep, your dentist will gently remove a small amount of enamel to make room.
If your teeth have been prepped, we’ll provide temporaries so that you don’t need to spend any time without a full smile.
Lumineer fabrication
Lumineers are crafted in Denmat’s state-of-the-art dental labs. Once your veneers are ready, they’re shipped to our office for final placement.
Placement
Before cementing them in place, Dr. Harnois will place your veneers and ensure they look perfect. He’ll perform final touch-ups to add natural shade and shape to your smile. You’ll walk out of the office with your confident new grin solidly in place!
Life with your new smile
Lumineers can be treated like your natural teeth and will blend seamlessly with your smile. If you grind your teeth, you should wear a night guard so that your smile will last as long as possible.
Lumineers last for years but may need to be replaced at some point. But brushing and flossing, eating right, and caring for your teeth will help them last for many years to come.
Our Patient Nicole’s Smile Makeover
Nicole decided to move forward with Lumineers before her wedding day. She wanted to have a smile that she loved as she walked down the aisle and memorialized her big day. She feels so confident with her new grin and loved her experience. Dr. Harnois was so happy to see her through her transformation.
“I can’t talk enough about my smile. Everyone at the wedding and at work just compliments me all the time. Coming to Hinsdale Dentistry was one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, and so informative. I just felt so comfortable knowing that I was in such great hands. Lumineers are so intimidating when you first start talking about them, but everyone put me at ease. I love it here!”
We want our Lumineers patients to be as informed as possible before starting the process. Knowing more about the procedure will help you feel comfortable throughout, and get everything you want out of your smile makeover. If you’ve ever considered veneers, you owe it to yourself to schedule a consultation to speak with our team. You’ll gain insight into the procedure and there’s no commitment – why not take this step?
We look forward to seeing you!
