Steps of the Porcelain Veneer Procedure
- Consultation – Before you get started with veneers, we’ll need to determine that they’re right for your smile. This consultation is your opportunity to get to know our staff and our cosmetic dentistry talents. Ask us any questions you have about treatment’s potential, and we’ll recommend the route that best suits your teeth and your needs.
- Tooth prep – Your teeth will need to be prepared for the veneers, so that they fit between your teeth and don’t make them appear bulky. Because we offer Lumineers, minimal prep is necessary, making your appointment faster and more comfortable.
- Impressions – We will take impressions of your prepared teeth so that your veneers fit them perfectly and look completely natural.
- Temporaries – If your teeth have been prepped, we will put temporaries in place so that your smile continues looks full and functions normally between appointments.
- Veneer fabrication – Our dental lab will fabricate your veneers and get them back to our office as quickly as possible.
- Final veneer placement – At your final appointment, we will remove your temporaries and cement your veneers in place. After we make careful adjustments to ensure the veneers fit within your bite and look just like natural teeth, you’ll be ready to share your new smile with the world!
